Taurius Lamp

This story isn’t for the faint-hearted. When my friend Darius approached me with a request to make a custom lamp for someone truly special, I didn’t expect what came next.

The lamp was for Taurius — an incredibly active, positive guy with an unforgettable story. During a kitesurfing accident, Taurius suffered a severe injury: his leg broke with such force that the bone punctured straight through the board. Part of the bone remained lodged in it.

Yes, you read that right. And yes — we incorporated that moment into the lamp.

The design captures the dramatic event: air bubbles frozen in resin add a sense of movement and impact, while the lamp base is crafted from the very same board involved in the accident. It's both a tribute and a time capsule — a reminder of resilience, strength, and an unbeatable spirit.

Fun fact: Taurius is already back on his board, kitesurfing again.
